Herb Block exhibit

Herb Block Political Cartoons

From May 5th through August 21st the Dole Institute of Politics will be featuring the Herb Block Exhibition. The exhibit features political cartoons on the environment, education, civil rights, democracy, and thirteen U.S. presidents by four time Pulitzer Prize winner cartoonist Herb Block. This exhibit is free and open to the public.

Dole Today

A new exhibit, "Dole Today," highlights projects that Senator Bob Dole has been involved with in recent months and honors he has received.

Some of his recent projects include greeting World War II veterans upon their arrival at the National World War II Memorial in Washington, DC and his dedicated work on the Bi-Partisan Health Care Committee.

Honors include his trip to Normandy in 2009 as a guest of President Barack Obama at the 65th Anniversary of the Normandy Invasion and the World Food Prize that he and Senator George McGovern were awarded in 2008 for their long-standing commitment to eradicate world hunger.
